There is a lot of support out there if you need more independent guidance, advice or to ask us a question.
Neither the Trustee, the administrators, nor your Employer, are able to provide you with financial advice. You can find a financial adviser using MoneyHelper.
We have partnered with HUB Financial Solutions, a retirement specialist team who will talk you through your choices, giving you guidance on the different retirement options, so you can decide what’s right for you.
By phone, they will explain your options at retirement, the important things to consider for each option, and they’ll talk you through the next steps. As a member of the Trust, it’s free to use and totally impartial.
You can call them directly on 01737 827 978, between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Calls may be monitored or recorded, and call charges may apply.
Pension Wise is a free and impartial government service that helps you understand your retirement income options. You can book an appointment if you’re 50 or over and have defined contribution pension savings.
If you have lost track of any workplace or personal pensions, you can use the Department for Work and Pensions’ Pension Tracing Service to find up-to-date contact details.
The Pensions Ombudsman deals with complaints and disputes which concern the administration and/or management of occupational and personal pension schemes, that cannot be resolved directly with the scheme. You have the right to refer any complaints to The Pensions Ombudsman free of charge.
A complaint needs to be made within three years of when the event(s) happened, or when you first knew about it (or ought to have known about it), if later. There is discretion for those time limits to be extended.
TPR has powers to intervene in the running of pension schemes where trustees, employer or professional advisers have failed in their duties to operate the scheme in accordance with legislation, and to minimise any adverse impact on the sustainable growth of an employer.
